I made this first tile to set up with my Stampin' Up! display at work. I designed it with colors to match my scraproom.

I had someone ask if I could make her one to purchase for her daughter. I said, "Sure!" and my tile making frenzy began! She asked for pastels, but no pink, cupcakes, & her name. Here is what I came up with:

Then I made a bunch of Easter-themed tiles with a cross & John 3:16 on them (sorry, didn't take a picture of these) Oops! They sold pretty quickly. I offered to do custom work and had this next bunch requested:

For these, I stamped all the designs, but used ink-jet printable rub-ons for the scriptures. I was really happy with how they came out. I am also getting ready to work on two more custom designs.
These really are beautiful irl with their natural background, and glaze only on the stamped images. This is such a fun and rewarding project.
These are awesome! What a great idea
ReplyDeleteThose tiles look great! You did such a fantastic job.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful! I've never done tiles-where did you get them? The Sara tile is amazing-so many details...the dots, the offset name, the cupcakes are JUST the right shade....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
These are wonderful tiles. I can see why they started selling immediately! I've done them as coasters before, not sure why I didn't think to use a stand for them. Great idea!
